This is the first biography/documentary style project that I worked on in school. In fact, this was the first non-assigned project that I worked on to begin growing a portfolio.
The film is about a local Rock-band in Columbus, Ohio that I used to be friends with that went by the name Time Out. I approached their vocalist and lead guitarist-Ryan Gunter-and asked him if he was interested in making some kind of piece to showcase who they were as people and as a band. He agreed to the project, and so the Rockumentary was made.
It was a very interesting experience to do this project because, this was the first original idea I had for a film project, and it was really the first attempt I had at working the phases of production on my own. So in the end, I learned a lot from this project and I still enjoy coming back to watch it every now and again.
